my system is windows xp and I manage SQL by phpmyadmin
I set the files as cp1256-general for the frontaccounting and changed each field collation to cp1256
I set a language file as windows-1256 and I work with frontacc through same encoding,
I did all this because windows does not support arabic utf-8 and I couldnt get .mo in arabic mo, so I had to change files to windows arabic.
When I enter data in any field in Arabic it shows back as ????
I could not check values in actual files since phpmyadmin browser sets encoding as utf-8 only where all data in not utf-8 does not show.
What can I do? I think I am stuck between utf-8 and windows-1256.
I appreciate any help to solve my problem.
