SO Am I to understand that downloading data from your bank eg .qif , ofx, csv or ofc is not yet possible?

Yes we have plans for export/import of various items. See this link.

We are more looking into xml for doing this, but an API could also be of interest.

Before downloading and start playing with it,
does the project have or plans to have an API for external programs to push info into it?
