When found, then click the sales order number. There you should see the invoice.

I know I sold a specific item for which I do know the item number (or description) and I'd like FrontAccounting to search for the invoices where I sold this item on.

Maybe you will have this functionality, however I'm looking for it and cannot find it yet.
