Banking and General Ledger->Bank Accounts-> Tick "Show also Inactive" (Left bottom of the upper half of screen) -> click Inactive

We have a bank account defined in the banking ledger which has not been in use for more than 10 years, and I try to change it to "inactive" but get the answer that this is not possible. Any other way to get rid of it?
