POS for FA and till printer link?

It seems that there were several requests over the years for a POS in FA.

In searching all the information it seems that very few if any of the suggestions ever materialised except one that I could find that has updates https://sourceforge.net/projects/chromispos/

Is there a possibility of an integration between these software? Unless someone else has an alternative constructive idea.

Second related question: Can you link a till printer to the standard FA installation to print a small Till printer invoice instead of an A4 size page?

Add ability to manage documents associated with items

Manufacturing companies have lots of documentation, such as technical drawings, and item specific documentation that needs to be managed in association with inventory items.

I suggest adding the ability to upload documents associated with inventory items and the ability to add a description of the attachment and any associated notes with a link to view or download the attachment and to delete the attachment. I imagine this as an additional "Document" or "Attachments" tab on the item maintenance screen.

User Access for spesific COA

tldr: Decrease the limit number of posts to allow users to create attachments. And another suggestion

I cannot find permissions for PunBB member levels on here or PunBB forum/documentation, so some of the following is assumptions.

You cannot post attachments unless you have made 50 posts - a 'senior member'.

So as I understand it; the persons requiring the most help are new users, as they may not yet know the correct terminology of the problem the have, English is not their first language, etc. So screenshots would help them 'a picture is a 1000 words.'. Also by the time they reach 50 posts, they probably have sufficient knowledge not to have to post accompanying screenshots, the screenshots they now post are to help someone else. Yes they can link to external sites, but that's too many steps and complicates the process. It also doesn't encourage good behaviour either - a user can easily write more posts to increase their membership level by writing valid but wasteful posts - e.g. 'Yes I agree' or 'Thank you, this helped me too' etc.

By the time a member posts say 5 posts you can tell if they are a spammer, troll etc, so can a new level of membership be created, say 'Trusted Member'. You can still ban them anyway.

If no more levels can be created, change the 'senior member' level and rename it? It doesn't mean much anyway?

Also whilst researching this I noticed an unofficial extension on the PunBB site that notifies users if they have received a PM which has also been asked for on this site.

PURGE OLD FORUM POSTS

Please, let's try to keep the discussions somewhat relevant. Seeing posts up there from 2012, 2016, etc., is, hmm, what's a polite way to say this, it's let's just say it makes us all look like we're not candidates for mensa by any stretch of the imagination. Any posts older than 24 months needs to be deleted, or at least archived with notice that users can search the HISTORIC posts of the days of yesteryear.

Include, when attachment is uploaded, the attachment with the invoice

Hi,

Nowadays I am requested more often to merge my attachment with de invoiced pdf file. Now I have to download the invoice and merge the attachment by hand, which is time-consuming. This has to do with the fact that more and more companies use e-factoring to process invoices.

Hopefully more FA users will support my request.

Add "Add Another Supplier Invoice" after completing a Supplier Payment

After adding a supplier invoice to the system, you are presented with a menu that has numerous picks to proceed. This includes "Enter Another Invoice" or "Entry supplier payment for this invoice."

If you elect to pay that invoice at that time, you are subsequently presented with a new larger menu that does not include "Add another supplier invoice."

This necessitates having to go back to the main menu, pick "Purchases," then "Supplier Invoices" if you have multiple invoices to enter.

While certainly doable, it adds multiple steps to the process of entering Supplier Invoices.

This is merely a suggestion to improve some great accounting software.

Recuring invoices PHP strtotime

I think it would be useful to add string text field or drop drown box w/options and use strtotime() to add more function to recurrent invoices. If you had the field you could put days in not just dates. ie first monday or last wednesday. This would be really usefull for service based industries that have a regular work week and schedule clients regularly based on day of the week. ie therapists or home service companies.

keep the rest the same month and day with optional field that would calculate the next date after month and day is calculated.
