I am new here and installed Frontaccounting at the shared hoster Netcup with no problems.

But installing language package went into the message "Cannot download repo index file." This was my first problem.

Second I downloaded mo and po files local and installed it manually. But I found many strings untranslated (german). So I'd like to help in german translation. Is there any central platform where we can do it? If not, where can I get a file with all translatable strings to complete german translation? And where to send it to help other people?

abajo botón: "Agregar Manualmente Nuevo Lenguaje"
   Código de Idioma es_CL
   Nombre del idioma Spanish (Chile)
   Codificación utf-8
   Archivo de Idioma (PO)    el descargado .po
   Archivo de Idioma (MO) el descargado .mo
botón actualizar

Luego en menu Preferencias seleccionar este Idioma para que aparezcan correctamente los acentos y ñ

I have an issue after migrating from Win to Ubuntu - the german language pack, although being activated hasn't any effect. Everything remains in english.

Ubuntu itself is in german.

DB Coalation is in uft8_bin . Could that be the root cause of the issue and if so, what would be the proper setup in MariaDB?

I just installed frontaccounting v2.4.8 in windows 10,I used XAMP with PHP V5.6.23, I installed the language from the install/update language but not worked.

I go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/frontaccounting/files/FrontAccounting-Languages%202.X/ar_EG%202.X%20%28100percent%29/ and downloaded the zip file ar_EG228.zip and extract it as the wiki suggest, then I added new language but it is still not working.

I even tried to translate the empty.po and no luck.

I installed Russian language, and it is the same problem,the user interface does not translated to the selected language at all.
