Extending Fiscal Year

I have a situation where I want to change the fiscal YE from January to April. Can I extend the current year to end in April and have a longer year? Or do I need to create a small intermediate step between the full years? (and then have the inconvenience of adding them together at new year end) What would be the correct and easiest way to achieve this in FA?

Price before/after Tax

Hello,

I'm setting up a new company (US) on the same accounting server that already has configured other companies (Canadian). The Canadian company exhibits correct tax behaviour - Under Sales -> Direct Invoice item price is _before_ tax. On the US company Direct Invoice item price is _after_ tax. I unable to find where to change this. The US company should also be configured for before tax item pricing. How can I change this?

Sales Quotation Inquiry is not showing quotations with 0 total amount.

Hi,
I've been using frontaccounting for almost a year now, We used to create pending quotation with zero amount only having items and quantities. But now since i upgraded the system with few changes it has stopped showing quotations with total amount 0 have selected show all. The data is saved in DB in Sales Order. But quotation is not shown in Sales Quotation Inquiry.

I think there must some option that i disabled accidentally, let me know how can i fix this issue.

Backup/Restore showing Empty Database after backup

Hello All,

Thanks once again for your commitment to making frontaccounting competitive.

I just discovered that when I do a backup, after backup is finished the size of the file is 0. there is nothing in the file. I am using 2.4.11. But when I do backup from phpmyadmin, it works. How do I correct this anomaly.

Transaction References

I would like to start my Sales Quotation number begin with 1001.
Then, I edit document line for Sales Quotation at Setup/Transaction References as {1001}/{YY}.
Unfortunately, my New Sales Quotation Entry Reference number become 0001/23 (I think it should be 1001/23).
Someone can help?

PHP 8.2 commits - why change $deliver_to to $delivery_to ?

In this commit, in the file sales/includes/cart_class.inc, why was the variable $deliver_to changed to $delivery_to ?
Wonder if this is going to affect some module or other FA files.

Please note that the following files still use $cart->deliver_to, $order->deliver_to and $_SESSION['View']->deliver_to:

Hide the default tax rate shown when processing Purchase Order Entry

During the processing of Purchase Order Entry it shows the tax rate I previously set up in Setup-Tax Type-the Default Rate %.
Is there a way for me to hide the tax rate that shows during the processing of Purchase Order Entry.

I created a new company thus I can't edit anything (button edit didn't appear)
I would like to edit the user access and chart of accounts.

I don't have this problem with other companies that I have created.

Hi i would like to ask how to extend session it seems like session close to fast i have tried adding (admin/company_preferences.php?> Login Timeout: 600000 or 28800) but still ending too fast like few mins session end.. is there a way i can extend or fix this.

Sort Category List

Hi,

I am using 2.4.11. How can I sort the Names in the Category dropdown menu in the Items and Inventory Section.
Currently they are not shown in alphabetically order and it is not easy to select the Name in the Category.
