Purpose

Create bill of material (BOM) for all items used in Manufacturing module.

Procedure

  1. Select a manufacturable item from a drop-down list
  2. Add components

Tips and Tricks

  • Make sure Work Centres are created up-front.
  • BOMs can be created for Manufactured Items only.
  • When using a bulk item to manufacture smaller items, set the quantity on the BOM as a decimal value
    • For example, if you buy 100 Liters of Sluggo Cola and are manufacturing 100 x 1 Liter bottles, set quantity in your BOM as 0.01 and quantity in your work order as 100
