System is blocked after source upgrade until database...

I just downloaded and installed 2.3 on my server. Actually I've tried to install a few times. Each installation is successful, but when I try to do anything on the system, I get a :

"System is blocked after source upgrade until database is updated on System/Software Upgrade page"

Any hints on what to do?

hi every body .
i use this system in iraq. and i use a 3g network operator for connecting to internet. but the operator (Newroz telecom) changes my ip address every 15 second so my login session rapidly expires. and for each click i should login again... so i can't use this program. and also i cant change my network operator...
now does anybody know how can i disable this type of session checker (client IP address). or maybe another solution exists that i don't know....

Display of other language instead of english, fails

I was able to download other languages and to select them in the various places where the language could be adjusted.
Unfortunately, the display language stays on English. No onscreen error occurred.
I already tried to clear the cache of the browser, but that made no difference.

I tried several platforms, webservers and browsers. No combination succeeded in changing the display-language.

Does anybody have a hint of what might be wrong?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Eco Tax

On some products I need to charge Eco tax which is NOT a percentage of the value but a fixed value depending on the product.

So for example:

I have a product selling at €10.00 exc VAT(18%) and has €0.23 Eco tax.

This will sell €10.00 + €1.80(VAT) + €0.23(ECO Tax) = €12.03

Is there a way to configure such a tax scenario ?

Install/Activate Extensions, Theme, Chart of Accounts not working

Hi,

I've installed FA 2.3.11 on Windows 7 machine running Apache and MySql. Installation without any error, running perfectly fine, no problem at all. Only problem is none of the following options are working under Setup/Maintenance
Create/Update Companies
Install/Update Languages
Install/Activate Extensions
Install/Activate Themes
Install/Activate Chart of Accounts

When I click any of the above option I get error:
Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

I don't know the reason as everything else is working perfectly fine, except for above. I am able to access internet from the browser and I am logged in as admin.

Please help.

500 Internal Server Error

I am getting the above error when I go into some transaction items in the Sales, Purchases and Inventory TABS and yet when I go into transactions for other TABS eg Banking and General Ledger everything is working perfectly.

Please help as this is very frustrating.

@Janusz: HG 3227 - Ignore hook system in installer. - Please throw some light on what this actually does and what error and where it occurs if not used. Does it change existing installs or merely avoids the hooks during the initial run of the FA install routine when no database had yet been chosen?

Install in local server and online server

I want to install FA in three local server as POS and one is in online server. Is it possible to update local server work with online server database by clicking on a button? Actually, it is done to not connect internet continuously.

redirecting to login page again and again

i have installed fresh front accounting 2.3.9

installation was successful, now after login with admin user and password, i am able to login but on each click , i am redirected to login page again and again.

i have also check the temp folder with session data, it have write permission and session files are creating properly.

Problem with login/password

Hi,

I'd like to make a complete copy of a FA install - I've copied the database and the files - changed the database settings in config_db.php but I'm getting the error:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'application' not found in /home/frontacc2/public_html/applications/customers.php on line 13

Any pointers gratefully received.
